Observe, record,
and call it in.

A security officer is not a police officer and has no more power to detain than anyone else. A company that implies otherwise is setting up its own staff, and your liability, for a very bad night.

How we work

A licensed Florida agency, clear about authority

NML LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L20000091724, filed in 2020, operating as a licensed security agency under Chapter 493 with agency licence [FLORIDA CLASS B AGENCY LICENCE NUMBER]. Officers hold current Class D licences.

The limits matter as much as the service. Security officers have no law enforcement powers, no power of arrest beyond any private citizen, and no authority to search a person or their belongings. They observe, deter, document and call law enforcement when that is the right step. Officers will not carry out instructions outside the written post orders, and will not do anything unlawful or unsafe — including when a client asks. Armed cover exists only by separate written agreement.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Can your officers detain someone?

No more than any private citizen can, and we train officers not to. They observe, document and call law enforcement. A company promising more is exposing its staff and your business.

Can they search bags or people?

No. Security officers have no search authority. At an event, entry can be made conditional on a bag check that a guest consents to — that is a condition of entry, not a search power.

Do you offer armed guards?

Only by separate written agreement, with a Class G licensed officer and use-of-force limits written into the contract. It is not something we add casually.

How do I know the patrols actually happened?

Electronic checkpoints timestamp every visit and the report comes to you. Without that, a patrol service is unverifiable and you are paying on trust.

Will you guarantee nothing gets stolen?

No, and nobody honestly can. Security reduces risk and provides deterrence, presence and documentation. Anyone guaranteeing an outcome is selling something else.

How many officers do we need for our event?

It depends on numbers, layout, alcohol and timings. We will tell you the honest figure even when it is more than you hoped — an understaffed entrance is where incidents begin.
